Fonzie you may be hammered but I guess I'll be SLEDGE-hammered -- for saying that I think that Schopp should have at lest until the end of the season in post - Conway et al should make it clear that Schopp is going nowhere.
I have to agree. We got 40 points in 30 games under Struber (mid-table form), but we were playing catch-up to such an extent, that it took the Wigan points deduction to keep us up, despite the massive improvement in results after Struber took over. If we leave it for another 5 or 6 games, and there is no improvement, any new manager is going to be facing an uphill task. As others have commented, it's not as though there have been any encouraging signs at all since the first half v QPR. Obviously, if Schopp isn't sacked imminently, I am hoping he succeeds with us, but I have little faith this will happen.
Depends which fans I've never seen the fans so unanimously wanting rid of a Head coach. Don't blame them the footballs garbage and shown no signs of improving... but oh let's wait and see of asking mads anderson play out from the back makes a difference.
A little bit of food for thought for the people saying its because we lost mowatt and dike. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56953362 The last game of last season a 2-2 draw at home to champions norwich. 10 of the 11 players in the starting 11 are still at the club only chaplin has left The only sub brought on who isn't at the club now is dike who came on after we scored both our goals. We played well that day had more shots than Norwich, more shots on target and were unlucky not to win against a very strong Norwich side. If we were to play them under chip schopp it would be a cricket score and we wouldn't have a shot on goal.
I mentioned that on another thread. It seems basic stuff & surely a manager applying for a job needs to have faith in their abilities. Why would they object. If they did surely that would tell the CEO / board something?
