As a local business, I wouldn't see value in advertising on such an offering. Disappointing.

If you take the signs either side as a guide the only words i can see are Britannia Drilling and Burrows, the rest is blur so i recon we have a scoreboard and nothing more.

Thats my assumption. It's certainly nothing like the screens you get at the cricket for sure! Maybe they are going old skool with A, B, C, D......

After all, do we even know if its electronic yet? ;-)

It's definitely a bit of a let down if it's just a newer version of the old screen, mainly because we'll have this one for years and years I imagine and it would age terribly (it'll already be a bit behind the times before if it is even installed).

On the other hand, ANYTHING has to be better than the old scoreboard.

It looks wrong there too, unbalanced. I would have had it top of the North Stand like Huddersfield have.

Bit disappointing, I was thinking along the lines of what they have at Walsall, not huge but able to show really clear pictures of players etc, hopefully it will at least do that...think all the talk of needing new steel supports etc lead everyone to the assumption we'd have something bigger.

As JamDrop says, it's gonna be in place for years and is potentially out of date before its first game.

I think we said that about whoever followed Wiseman and Kennedy in the fullback positions...

The bloke I spoke to midweek wasn't pillocking then. Too small for anything useful. Can't believe that's what people have been saying we can't afford for years. Waste of time and money for me.

The media aspect aside ,i would expect to see the score and the names of the goalscorers as a minimum spec.

so what was all this b0llocks about needing a new structure then? it'll definitely look smarter than the old one, but i can't see how it's going to be very useful. too small to show match action. too small to show things like squad info. too small to show much by way of advertising. too small for anything other than the score really. which everyone in the ground should know! just been done on the cheap ennit

    ah well

It seems your board have got their priorities completely mixed up. Send Bradshaw back and get a much bigger scoreboard. That should help you stay in the Championship.

    ;)

I reckon Patrick is teasing us, it still might turn out to be the full size :)

They've gone with the cheap option, yer mind £38 a game, or £36 if you want to be pedantic.
