I don't think the club have helped themselves on this one we got told it was coming in a few months probably more than a year ago now then it gets totally overlooked then with the ongoing problems switching on TV's in the concourse it makes them look like they havent got a clue what's going on. But it will funder it's self Or.so.some of the geniuses on here seem to think Personally I.can't believe that this is.on.some people's. Agenda. That's the trouble with football fans, fantastic at.spending other people's money
Could do with a full stop at the end Ty, borrow one from somewhere else, there`s plenty to pick from.
I take it you've never been to a Barnsley game where you've lost count of the score then? And thought to yourself 'if only we had a score board to tell me the score'? Seriously you've never thought that? Me neither. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
The current one was installed in 1999 I believe, how many people still use a tele, car, mobile phone or pair of underwear that old? Not many, plus the fact that Mansford has already said they can't get parts for it so it should be taken down, even if it's only replaced in the interim with another LED one, just something simple like the one at Liverpool.
Ben has seriously gone down in my opinion. To announce something will happen without checking if the club could afford it is unprofessional but to make promises and give regular updates when it was all going well and he looked the good guy only to then hush it up and Hope everyone forgets when you realise you cant deliver on your promise is really bad form and makes me think absolutely nothing has changed since the days of false promise don and his solar panels, north stand sponsorship and other promises that were then buried without a word.
Is it because our team might not notice the score and that we are losing, maybe a new score board may make them see wee need to score more goals than the other team to win. Of at least match them to draw,
It may fund itself. But over 10 years. the company installing it wouldn't take part payments over the same 10 years. They would want the install and cost up front or on delivery/install. So up front investment is required. Makes no difference if we get revenue back over 10 years. But on a side note they should just switch of the current one. Money should be put in to the team for now. Unless stones get sold again...
Can't believe how behind the times we are and how we accept living in the past is ok. We talked about increasing match day experience but a scoreboard is simply something everyone has. It's a necessity. These days we get more from it than the score. If we really want to attract more people, in a modern world competing against other entertainment options we have to do better. Or do we save the 50k for a new player. Maybe even save more if we just play in tescos white T shirts and train with penny floaters. Close the drinks and snack bar too. After all we only want to see a footy match don't we? See I have saved nearly 50k and 10 shillings now.
Mansford said at the start of last season that we definitely getting a new scoreboard. Then he said that we had additional clauses in the John Stones deal. The Chron then said otherwise. Then, to days before the season ticket deadline he said our budget would "very competitive". His words. Then Hassell said we won't be able to attract any players with the wages we are offering. There's a pattern emerging.
yeah there is. you whinge constantly. with astonishing repetition. there's your pattern, right there.
When the club finally get something right they well get a bit of praise. Must say I don't think I've seen you whinge on here Tom. You filthy, stinking hypocrite.
