You're obsessed with getting your hands on a big c#ock. ( mild homage to the scoreboard)

Be great if our phones could earn the club thousands of pounds each game.

A league one clubs sponsorship deals:

Our stadium scoreboard enables companies to get their chosen message across to our fans by using a variety of full colour animated graphics and video.

With all big screen packages you are guaranteed a minimum of six slots up to 30 seconds long. Starting one hour prior to kick-off, continuing to a captive audience throughout the game.

As well as advertising, the big screen is ideal for displaying pictures of fans for use with birthday and other celebratory messages.

    Big Screen Package Prices:

    1 Game Package £400 + VAT
    5 Game Package £1,500 + VAT
    10 Game Package £2,000 + VAT
    Seasonal Package £3,500 + VAT
    Celebratory Message £30 + VAT

You joke but if the club put the scoreboard on their Ebay account to auction off for charity i'm certain they would get a couple of hundred quid for it.

Ground is going to look much smarter with a new scoreboard. It will look more professional and modern. Could get back to putting up the latest scores that I think was the idea of Danny Wilson to scrap as he said it distracted the players. It will pay for itself with sponsorship deals from other companies. It can advertise prices for matches coming up and special offers in the club shop with pictures of said items rather than just putting up words. Can set up a MOTM text number on their so they can make a little income every match from the official home crowd MOTM (i'm sure Linton could get someone to sponsor that alongside the official MOTM from the main sponsors).

Of all the things to get a bee in your bonnet about. Just don't look at it if you're not interested.

I own a smartphone. I get absolutely no signal in oakwell.
Nor do I have any interest in getting out my phone, pissing about with the internet and waiting for a page to load to show me that the dee dars have just conceded when I could just move my head and see a giant board telling me. A giant board that tells me they've conceded and then pockets the club a few grand by advertising a local car dealers for a few seconds.

Let's hope it's used the right way like it's used at some other grounds, creates a brilliant atmosphere pre game. BFC have done some excellent videos on YouTube maybe they can do a historic one going through the years showing various historic goals and scenes with some brilliant background music heart of courage two steps from hell or now we are free, the Man City lights out at their night games is brilliant
