It seems a sensible thing to do and 'Im pleased that the club is showing flexibility and really hope that they get value from these experienced players by having a successful season and giving a good environment for our younger players to shine.
Great signing IMHO, him in defence and Connor in midfield, if we get an experienced striker that would be something!
I'm delighted with this as much as hourihane. Experience. Knows what the club is about. Can guide the young. And even if he doesn't play every week, knows what it takes and can keep the young ones in check with guidance. Well done all
Roberts and Houriane are in to develop the younger players. This probably means there won't be many more coming in as we have a fair few from the development team or returning from loan. In another thread recently It was said we've moved out about 10 players and if that's right we may be balancing the books. especially with more transfer payments coming in.
Number 1 is mark roberts, number 2 ia mark roberts, number 3 is mark roberts. Delighted to have him back
I really feel this is the season we need to blood Jalo. He has the physicality now not to be knocked off the ball and can run at a man. I'm hoping Cosgrove can push on. He looked useless most of the season, but then came good towards the end. I'd not rule out Watters, depending on the playing style / Coaching TBH too. Would happily take a loan from a big club for another young striker. We need an extra option. I'm not sure an experienced striker, who is likely to be any good will be in our budget TBH. Would like to be proved wrong though.
We will see I'm not convinced, losing kane to Huddersfield and cadden linked with Bolton speaks volumes. Hopefully we sign sibley
