RE: Shaun Doyle Security are NOT the new shirt sponsor.. FACT

    Yes they did.

No they didn't (unless they have been extremely generous since the event and the news hasn't been filtered to the rest of the committee.)

No shirt for me if it's Doyle Security. I've bought at least one every season for years, but they can **** off if this rumour turns out to be true.

So they donated money but then charged for the stewarding?

I'm assuming that the Society either broke even on this or made a profit on it. Nice way for them to claim against tax with a charitable donation whilst also doing business!

    Eastander... get your facts right

I suggets you speak to the society and ask them about profits on the day...

I just know that SD helped them out at the 11th hour when thay had NO KIT SPONSOR for the day..

What "facts" do you speak of?

I was responding to a post that said they made a donation but also that they charged for the stewarding. I was making a comment based upon those details.

And if you cannot post a response without resorting to needless personal abuse to make your point "idiot" then please refrain from doing so.

So you expect them to do the Stewarding for free AND sponsor the kit that the Legends wore !!!!

If you let me know what would make you happy then I will pass it on...

The fact is that whatever they do you'd find fault somewhere in it,

    Am i missing something here?

Why is it of vital importance you have a shirt sponsor for a charity game????

    Where did I say that?

I don't expect them to do anything.

They could have offered stewarding for free without the donation, so what I'm saying is that in charging for stewarding but at the same time donating that allows them to claim that as a charitable donation. Good business sense.

To pay for the kit !!!!

Other wise the Supporters club would have had to pay for it, out of the profits, that they were donating to Dickie's charity....

RE: To pay for the kit !!!!

The players could pay for their own kit if you don't get sponsorship.

    It's what my team do.
