The point I'm making is, this could be why the majority of cases there have been mild so far, because it has mainly infected younger people there. News at Ten have actually just suggested this while I've been typing. It also takes 3 weeks or so for an infection to make someone seriously ill and the variant hasn't been around that long.

 

I don't argue with that point. But you can't make a point in isolation, it brings out other points. Why have they got such a small demographic of people over the age of 65. And if it's the over 65s that are at risk, which is clearly the point that is being made, why is £billions being spent on vaccinating the under 65s?

And while we're at it, why, when all this money is available for medication, can't people see a doctor when they have a differnet disease that is killing them.

And not just vaccinate them, but booster them, now down to every three months, and ensure they are demonised if they don't partake.
