    In no way would I accept that but just supposing it did happen how many of our current players would make the new club?

    If we make the top six next season we will still be a top 50 club in this country. What about the hundreds of clubs not in the top 50? If we are dying on our arse other clubs are screwed.

    Young Nudger has been pushing this idea for a while now - it wont work. I am a Barnsley Fan if a new side is created merging 2 other local rivals it breaks my connection - I am not going to trek 400 miles return in a day to watch any old side and would either stop going to games altogether or go and watch a local side with other mates down here - I know a few who go to Aldershot and a few who go to Southampton so it would be one of those 2 but most likely I would just give up and watch whoever was on the telly

    I'm another who would just stop going. Probably start going to watch York instead. I would have no affinity at all to a generic SY club. It's a no from me.
