    Well thats good to know then

    Because in the one in Newcastle they had 2 handpumps that appeared to be on, Abbott and a local brew "Geordie Pride" or something like that....asked for a pint of the Geordie and he said that had run out so had the Abbott - no way was that Abbott, or if it was it was watered down, had that been the pint of Geordie I'd have put it down to it being a crap beer but having had Abbott many times before I knew it wasn't that.

    Opening 24th July

    Barnsley: Joseph Bramah / Long Wall (LN1), 15 Market Hill, Barnsley, South Yorkshire. In June 2006 Wetherspoons News as opening on 24th July, but with the name Long Wall (as originally proposed) and not Joseph Bramah.

    It would be great if it was non-smoking - but I think that might be too much to ask.

    I doesn't see like it now. I wonder what the problem was?

    I went past the other day and it looks quite a nice spot. However, the sign had not yet been erected.
