I'm not saying everything is hunky dory its just that its very easy spouting theories with hindsight and not being privy to actual details of negotiations. The club as a collective should have got off its fat arse in June and done everything in its power to bring in the required players. I am not convinced that the manager nor the chairman exhausted all avenues. But its feckin histroy now the only positive option available is to be wholeheartedly behind the club. If we do otherwise then we do not deserve a club. If we survive and we again fail to take financially reasonable steps to improve the squad then the criticism is perhaps justified.
i agree mate just making one point as i keep saying 7 games to survive by any means. if that means we have panicked bought a little go people in with release clauses i dont really care, i just want to stay up then we can rebuild. hopefully from the back this time, but that is another story.
Only game i cant make is ipswich, i have been a casual away fan all season but now i will be there full support and backing just hope we stay up then worry about whats to come.

And for what its worth i think we have a better chance under davey than we did under ritchie and i didnt think that when it first happend.

RE: That was before the manager was told all he could spend on transfers this season was £150k nt And we spent upwards of 500k in January. Ok!!
No - that's a sauce It only works as a verbal joke, loses it's impact when written as it doesn't work
Did they, that's a fact is it? No, it's your opinion. Ritchie has stated he had 2 short breaks and was on the phone constantly during them. The signings and the GS's refusal to sign Shuker despite Ritchie saying he wanted him happened afterwards.
Sales skills? Will you come and play for us for crap wages? I agree you'd need some special sales skills to sell that one!

RE: Did they, that's a fact is it? We offered Shuker a contract. He didn't respond. His contract ran out. He fecked off. Seems simple enough to me.
RE: Did they, that's a fact is it? Speaking of shuker. timeline: offered contract along with other players contract offer deadline passes. Shuker hasnt accepted. neither has kay, austin, colgan and others. Told he'd taken too long with contract and had it withdrawn colgan signs his contract extension
RE: Half a story eh? Twist those facts boy! nt What is in that post that is not complete and utter fact? We offered Shuker a contract. We gave him a date to respond. He didn't respond. The contract was withdrawn. He left. Seems pretty simple to me. Whether Ritchie wanted him or not he took the piss out of the club and it was dealt with exactly how it should have been. What facts have been twisted now cocker?
RE: Did they, that's a fact is it? You're missing one thing. All the others responded to the offer and began negotiations. Shuker didn't. The contract was just a starting offer as it is in all businesses.
Neil austin didnt respond within the alloted 4 weeks he's still at barnsley. shuker had responded before the offer was withdrawn according to andy ritchie and the barnsley official website
The fact that of the 4 who hadn't signed by the deadline only one offer was withdrawn? Were the other 3 taking the piss and why are they on our books now? Shouldn't be by your logic.
I was expecting that one. £250k from McIndoe- spent on Ferenczi £155k spent on McCann and Mattis where is the £500k then spent some money on crap loan signings and 1 good loanee, like I said transfer budget approx £150k
