I don't follow your reasoning. If the courts conclude that there isn't enough evidence to convict John Terry then that automatically means that Anton Ferdinand is guilty of something? Guilty of what exactly? At the very worst he would be guilty of misinterpreting the intentions of somebody saying the words 'fecking black lovely person' to him which John Terry admits he DID say.

    Admitted, you're right.

Not a well thought comment on my part. I do feel for Terry though, but I do understand the FA's decision...............and sadly I think because of all of this he shouldn't go to the Euro's, it is just a distraction isn't it.........................

I'll give you the other one! But on this one, regardless!

Stevie G; got drunk and hit someone. It is a bad thing to do! Should it stop him from being England captain, no I don't think so!

Ruling out those of a dubious character

Stevie 'g' - ok he was found not guilty by 12 scousers of beating up a bloke because he felt threatened, but clearly, and I mean clearly, he was throwing his weight around and being a grade 'A' tool.
Cashley Cole - likes playing away from home, loves the internet, enjoyed a group training session with a number of other players.
Rio Ferdinand - Drink driver who forgets when drugs tests are
"Lamps" - likes a bit of how's ye father, enjoys p**ing on bar tops infront of yanks the day after 9/11.
Rooooooney - Grab a granny fan.

Only Joe Hart and Milner have sufficient experience and don't have messed up private lives to take the job. Ok, Parker's done nothing wrong, but its a sad day for the quality of English football when we give the armband to someone who's "good at tackling". Time to update the game from 1971 to 2012.

Joe Hart. Young. Brilliant. In the team for the next 10 years. Seems to have a decent attitude.

Super tyke; don't forget Rio, banned for ages for "forgetting" a drugs test. Laughed when he turned down the captaincy yesterday, the FA couldn't have let him have it for the same reason that they dropped Terry and he knew it, I.e. The media circus surrounding the court case and Anton.

    Maybe Hart for me.

I'd like to see the manager pick a captain for each game as it comes when he's named the team.

I think we should just abolish the national team all together, but if we did what would people fu.cking moan about then?
