    Been wanting to ask for ages...

    As an absolute beginner using the BBS, what does "LOL" mean?

    I have worked out "FFS" and WTF" but "LOL has me stumped. Can you help?

    Friday? What happened on Friday?

    On Friday I had a couple of steam beers at my local here then an early night.

    Saturday was a different matter. Beer, wine, you name it, consumed while pouring over spreadsheets and calculating goal differences. Yes I've a hangover today!

    I've a funny feeling I'll have one next Sunday too.
