    Simon's line-up for Reading

Looks good on paper but i'd still like a left sided left back!

    RE: Blaming Davey is easy

I said something similar the other day. Davey get's the blame when Muller (or anyone else for that matter) fecks up ('yeah but he signed him'), but the players get the credit when they do well

RE: How much additional damage was done

As you say it is nigh on impossible for us to tell how much additional damage was done but he did seem to be hobbling around more as the game wore on

I may be wrong but I think there was speculation that he was rushed back and I don't think he has been half the 'keeper he was apart from pulling off the odd top drawer save. Although a case can be made for Steele to come back we can't blame our situation on the goal at Watford - the season is played over 46 games and any individual incident is just that. Every team at the top and bottom will have their "if only" incidents.

RE: How much additional damage was done

not many teams in the Championship have lost their biggest signing for most of the season and sold their captain and main creative player and not replaced with equivalent.

Loads of ifs and buts, and ultimately Davey should have no complaints if we go down and he gets the sack, but lets not kid ourselves, there's more than just the manager wrong and a new one aint going to miraculously turn our fortunes around. It'll be League 1 for some time me thinks.

I have to agree unfortunately. However, I'm just going to pretend that everything will be OK and that on Sunday tea time 3rd May we will still be a Championship club.
