Must say I didn't expect him to play that many games but I did expect 12-15 goals.

In some of the bigger games he's been phenomenal in all fairness. Some of his touches and general play have been a pleasure to watch. There's other games then where he's pretty much anonymous - depends what frame of mind he's in. That's why he's in the Championship now.

Players talk about him though and say he's the consumate professional, always gives his all and passes on his experience - even if he does like a good moan!

He'll be gone this summer though.

    I agree

We have a bunch of players who have some experience of playing with each other now.

Keep the manager and bring in a bloody good striker and we have the formation of a TEAM that can drive us on.

The positive I will take from the last season is that these boys are now a TEAM. Individuals don't get you promoted. Effective team work does.

I would have expected more goals and he always seems to me a lazy type of forward who will just pull something extraordinary out of thin air.

We keep on about wanting an experienced striker but they dont always live up to expectations and can be a drain on club finances.
