    * NHS defecit in 2016 was £2bn.
    * Tax gap (unpaid, avoided & evaded tax) in 2014 was £120bn.

    It's quite clear what needs to happen. As usual people like yourself stick your head in the sand and blame everyone but the people who deserve it and asking the same people already paying their share to pay more!

    There's plenty of money to go round all our public services. The traitorous wretches not paying their share need bringing to heel.

    Well my wife has 40+ yrs in the NHS and she started at 16 yrs old as a pre nursing student I'm assuming your parents did the same but worked on after 65 yrs to get 50 yrs service each , not many of those about . The NHS current problems have nothing to do with immigrants in fact without them it would totally collapse

    Privatisation of the NHS might get *some* politicians rich but without said privatisation how can it be so?

    The problems of teh NHS are nothing to do with immigration levels nor an ageing population but to do with funding. Too much money is being wasted on servicing PFI debts, too much money is spent on consultants who come in to tell Trusts how to save money but cost more themseleves and thirdly too much money is wasted by a top down re-organisation that only further fragmented the service. It is interesting that in Scoltland, where they do not have CCG's and they still have Health Authorities that they do not have nearly as many issues and indeed hospitals are actually encourgaed to work together as consituents parts of a larger organisation. In England, they are in competition.

    Scrap PFI for a start, then **** off the management consultants such as PWC.

    I wonder who came up with the internal market in the NHS. What a joke that is

    It's the same old tale ....fok no longer stick together the majority leave it to the few to do something about it...same thing happens in many a work place...management treat you like 5h1t you get those that stand up for their rights and others who shrug their shoulders and go what can we do and accept the conditions the management impose. ...divide and rule....tories structure they rely on the fact that many haven't got the balls to stand up for rights...we all at some point take the NHS for granted but it should always be our good legacy to the next generation free health care at point of contact
