During the summer players ply their trade anywhere to get a contract indeed hadn't Ward just been released by Norwich so to say he lived in Sheffield it didn't stop him from playing for the Canaries.At the time he trained with us he was a free agent and although I'm a Barnsley fan I would consider both Sheff Utd and Sunderland would have had more appeal to him.
