There's a massive difference, UKIP are golf-club Tories, BNP are old-Labour + Nationalism.

I think the first bit is fine to say, it's the second bit that is a bit of a touchy subject, even without then directly comparing him to someone in that situation.

Are they eck! The last policy I read on the NHS was far from Old Labour. It wasn't even New Labour.

The only policy you can in any honesty support is withdrawing from the EU. But not based on xenophobic reasons.

It wasn't a set-up, it just exposed his views and that they can't stand up to any scrutiny

It doesn't quite fit that remark though does it tbh, most think tanks agree that poverty and good health are not good bed buddies

It was a show trial, you don't have to be a BNP supporter to see that.

If you can't defend your views you shouldn't go on TV, you should go round intimidating people on the QT until those people are too scared to say you talk horse ****.

Oh please, it just showed up his fascist, far-right, out of touch views for what they are. It was not a show trial, nor a set-up.

Basically it showed you are entitled to your own opinions, not your own facts. He was given a platform and exposed for what he is. Absolutely no sympathy for him whatsoever, he is suposidely a politician, therefore his views are open to scrutiny, they did not match up to scrutiny. Nothing more nothing less.

I've watched Question Time since the Robin Day years and about 7 years ago it just turned into a joke because they obviously choose left-wing audience members and the whole programme is biased to the point of stupidity, how else would a programme be able to go to Tory stronghold in Surrey or somewhere and the whole audience are cheering Labour and whichever left-wing comedian is on and booing the Conservative? It's a nonsense.

I would watch the programme again if you think it was fair, isn't Dimbleby supposed to be an impartial moderator because he certainly wasn't that day, I found the show quite chilling the way the entire establishment can turn on someone.
