He's doing a live press conference. Maybe he will mention it.

The plan all along and they've not prepared for it. Anyone would think Boris is controlled by foreign actors trying to disable the country.

I'm glad you're delighted. Just let me in on what we've got to look forward to could you? Not all of it - just the top five will do.

What about the lies, the deceit, from out Govt, is that ok then? Let’s go ahead with a no- deal Brexit even if it shafts the majority of ordinary folk in the UK.

I think at best it’s delusion, and a total lack of awareness as to the lack of democracy in this country during the last few months

fishing rights. Are such a tiny part of our economy it is beyond belief that the govt really cares. Additionally it’s the U.K. govt that sold these off to the highest foreign bidder. As for state aid Gove has already said they aren’t bothered. Hedge funds betting against a collapse in the economy are literally the only ones who benefit from this. Now what possible links could they have to the tories.

Such a tiny issue that Macron wouldn't back down their end?

Tiny to us, not to them. Are you happy with being lied to?

It was definitely the plan once Boris was appointed Tory leader
The only reason the ERG voted for Boris "Deal" was to kick on the process of getting us out knowing that they could then force no deal later and there wouldnt be any stopping them - short of losing a general election in between
They just lied about it in their Manifesto along with the lies about food standards and workers rights
It was obvious that this was going to happen which is why I was so angry that just over 40% of the country voted for Boris's oven ready deal - because Corbyn ...

They will press on over the next 4 years wrecking all they can to make sure there is no way we can easily start to reverse the process should there be an election in 4 years time and they lose

But they aren't really getting on with it, are they?

They lied and said they have an Oven Ready Deal, which is clearly rhubarb. Now it looks like it's a No Deal, which will severely shaft us.

    Are you happy with that?

Are you happy being lied to?

    less than 0.12% of GDP.

why would you back down from a position of strength. It’s a slightly more important to them and they hold all the cards.

If it's not tiny for the EU..France in particular it was a massive issue to hold the cards on. Every politician lies as soon as they open their mouth so we just make the best of it.

I will! I'll admit I was lied to, and I'm ******* fuming at it. I even remember when I first got that shitty feeling in the pit of my stomach that I'd made a monumental **** up. It was about 6am the next morning when Farage did his first TV interview after the result and immediately said that the now infamous £350m that was promised to the NHS wasn't accurate.

Macron doesn't care about fishing rights, this about the union and he wants to show that anyone who wants ridicule the idea of a united and peaceful Europe must be dealt with appropriately.
The fact our government have used such disparaging language towards our neighbours and NATO closest ally makes folk do these kind of things.

Here we go again another ‘They’re all the same’ ******, from apologists who have nothing in defence but will not admit to the shambles we’re in. But Labour, but Corbyn.

I think its extremely likely this is his last desperate hurrah to try and get the EU to go back on everything they believe and rescind every rule law and agreement to do something on UK terms. The way he crapped himself right at the death on the withdrawal agreement makes me think he desperately wants to deliver a wafer thin deal before he gets kicked out In Jan/Feb.

A no deal benefits nobody. And at the time of a pandemic makes lunacy seem palatable.

His phrasing, that he clearly read off his notes, was enough to give an illusion that talks are still possible, while trying to sound tough for his right wing fanatics.

It wouldn't surprise me if right at the death he signs something without much change and heralds it as a wondrous victory against the EU while they look on bemused.

Bigger picture. With is being a massive issue for the French, no deal and it is us that hold all the cards. If they want to fish UK waters, they will pay a nice little price to do so. Suddenly it becomes a larger part of our GDP.

Then we import less and build up our own fishing fleet again.

We have so many opportunities to kick start our own industries especially with COVID pandemic hammering the world economy.

Mate yes you were lied to but even in a Leave decision folk were told a deal was a certainty and the EU would fold up their tents and agree to all our terms.
Which is the biggest lie the 350 million or a great deal will be reached not a no deal?
