Thats exactly what they want you to believe - the whole point of the gaslighting they keep on with - but its not true there have been many honourable politicians on both sides of the house until recently now there are admittedly very few on the Tory side but still plenty of others. The behaviour coined by the Vote leave and its supporters is far removed from anything we saw since the war The whole leave campain was fought on promises that couldnt be kept as the "remoaners" tried to point out but were ridiculed for it That doesnt mean it wasnt possible to leave the EU, or even possible to leave in a way that gave us more control over our borders but still kept many of the trading benefits we had but it was never the intention of the leave fanatics to do that
And all we’ll get from the Tory gutter press is Boris stuck it up em type jingoistic crap, especially from the apologists on this board
Everybody lies. But this is deception and manipulation on a breath taking scale. Every politician lies? OK. Johnson or Stalin... no difference as far as you're concerned
Ok yeah, the squeaky clean remain campaign of fear and using public money to fund the fear... Lies on both sides equally.
I never believed the EU would just bend over and agree to our terms. That was never going to happen. I honestly believed though, that like you mentioned in an earlier post, that both sides would be able to see that a hard, no-deal Brexit would achieve anything or benefit either side so that the negotiators at both ends of the table would find some common ground. Obviously, I was wrong and I'm sorry to everyone that has to live with the fallout for being such a gullible *******!
This is certainly a "glass half full" way of looking at things, if the glass is half full of lsd and bath salts...
I'll list one for you, I'm not you lacky.. So for starters George Osbournes emergency budget that would be announced as soon as we vote leave.. Yep little liar.
You do know many of the fish we catch in our own waters we export because they aren't very popular among british tastes?
Well in this thread, I’ve read where you’ve said there’s 2 sides to every story and that all politicians lie. Have I missed where you’ve specifically said we were lied to about the ‘oven ready deal’ for example.
You know we already sold the fishing rights and are tied in contractually. U.K. fishing will always struggle to get above where it is now as a percentage of GDP but we shall see. For reference in France the whole of agriculture including fishing is 1.5% of GDP do not a massive issue for them. You still believe they we are in a strong negotiating position. I hope you don’t get any emails from a Nigerian Prince anytime soon. the type of fish we catch has no market in the UK and with a no deal brexit no much market in Europe.
I voted remain and would rather have a deal obviously, but the EU do seem to think we are just like Switzerland who they can push around, negotiating is a two way thing.
