218 seats along the front row of the north stand by any chance?

I still don't understand how 23,000 minus 6,000 chelsea fans, minus 1,500 centenery ticket holders (maximum) minus 13,000 season ticket holders and their mates (maximum) leaves 1,400.

    I'm afraid it is mate

Having those seats empty is in orer to segregate their fans from the pitch and our fans.

Not that it stops anything like, the fat Barsteward wednesday fan was allowed to roam around in front of those cordoned off seats goading barnsley fans for 90 minutes without so much as a whisper in his ear. The barnsley fans at the other end who were sat in their seats however had a camera shoved in their face.

RE: 218 seats along the front row of the north stand by any chance?

Correct. That's why I'm saying there must be a large number of unused seats for various reasons.

    We know about:

Front 2 rows of North stand (hence 5,782 instead of 6,000 away fans)

    Maybe also:

Front 2 rows of Ponty (East Stand probably ok) if electronic advertising boards are being used
Chunk of seats behind the away dugout
Clusters of seats underneath and behind the two TV gantries on the West Lower

I don't think the front rows of the ponty end will be cordoned off but I've got a sneaking feeling that the entire north side of the west stand is going to be empty.

Although not a lot the camera rigging in the West Stand lower takes up a couple of dozen seats as well.

Barnsley fans can use the front rows of the ponty every week so if away fans cant use the front rows of the same stand at the other end then it is segregation isnt it?

yeah but they are only on seat every few yards..... and if they are going to be cordened off, where are all the disabled people who use the ponty going to go???

Row B is a full row of seats. And there are other spots in Ponty where the disabled sit.
