    He has played this season. He was abysmal, he was at fault for three of the four goals and was subsequently dropped; he is therefore to some extent, culpable.

    Maybe players such as Christensen, Johnson and Ricketts have exhibited a shocking attitude to being fringe players. In which case, yes they must share the blame.
