    Terrible news, well if Burton gets it I can stay at home and slag the team off without actually seeing them and get slagged off on here.

    I think we're too strong to go down.

    Hence, there's no pressure to recruit until the close-season.

    This season's a write-off, anyway.

    If we're too strong to go down, and I agree we are, what's the point of sacking the manager now, with no replacement sounded out/lined up?
    If we're not in a rush to replace Danny we could have given more time for his plans to show signs of coming to fruition - unless the board felt he was doing more harm than good.

    For those reasons I think we'll see a new manager announced soon. Pity it looks like it won't be Adkins.

    I agree with you - Danny should've been given more time.

    It's the cult of the new, though. Anything different is automatically better, until it isn't, and then we get someone else who's new and better.
