He is Oasis. Liam just performs when he wants, Noel is the band. Anyway, 2 great albums, a couple of other decent albums, some other decent tracks, and a lot of rubbish. Does that make them great? Their gigs sell out because of what they did in the 90's, a large percentage of the crowds will be 30+. They just go to watch Oasis regardless of their current stuff, because they will get the old stuff too. No great loss, but they were superb in the 90's.

Well it's my sincere opinion anyway

I think that the first two albums they released were fantastic - a real antidote to a lot of the rave/dance and manufactured pop music that was really clogging up the charts - and they just blew all that away because they reminded everybody what rock and roll was all about - and they were a good working class rock and roll band that was aggressive and a bit angry, and had something to be angry about - so it was sincere. So the first two albums were great. But after that they just never really evolved properly, and just became an excessive and overblown parody of themselves (as most rock bands tend to do). I just won't miss them at all - and no, I still don't think they're as big as they like to regard themselves. They're nowhere near the Clash, teh Pistols, the Rolling Stone, the Beatles, Pink Floyd etc for size and lasting effect.

    Which part?

The part that Oasis have gone down hill since SOTSG or the Lady Gaga bit?

Don't people still watch the Stones and the Who despite no new or good songs for years? Oasis were voice of my generation in 90s. When they made first two albums couldn't top it. Like Danny Wilson returning, only be doomed to fail - can't top perfection
