    Not so strange when you consider that Norfolk and Suffolk have been part of the same kingdom/region since the 5th century - East Anglia. It was still commonly referred to as this when I was a kid and games between Norwich & Ipswich were always called the East Anglian derby.

    Not all rivalries are 'local' ones, and why should they be?
