I'm quite happy with whoever Duff picks doing a job. I'd rather make a change because I don't think Norwood can play with the handbrake on.

Perhaps we'll be able to clutch 3 more points and accelerate up the table without him?

Just as well, they'd make a racket when you walk.

For me, he starts. Yes he's got to behave but if we don't start him aren't we in effect giving him the ban ourselves and suggesting that we don't trust him to avoid picking up a booking?

The card against Wednesday was needless and comes as a shame after he's been doing much better recently. But let's not forget this was a high pressure match (a cup final if you like ;)) and frustration obviously got the better of him. I doubt the Exeter match will be as edgy.

I don't think you should be able to bet on bookings. Ripe for cheating imo.
As to Norwood, he needs to start, simple as that. If we've chance of automatic we need to pile on the pressure tomorrow with a convincing win!

All the signs indicate we need him in the driving seat. We should give him the green light rather than dash his hopes :D

I'm gonna be contrary Mary here and say no, leave him out for this one. Bench if needs be and we're chasing the game - that's a risk worth taking. I'd start Tedic; he's earned it and has proved he can mix it up if required.

This is probably why I watch from the West Stand and not the home dugout!

Right now I think MD would select Watters infront of Tedic.

He gets booked at a rate of roughly 1 in 4 games. Assuming he doesn't adjust his behaviour that means the expected suspension is 0.5 games (0.25 chance of booking * 2 game ban). If we don't play him then we're voluntarily suspending him for 1 game.

It'd be daft not to play him, especially given that Exeter away looks the toughest of the next 3 games.

Was just going to post something similar.

The side must remain unchanged, Norwood will be subbed after 60ish minutes anyway.

For me bench and play kitch up front.....their defence would be panicking like he'll, if the passion and effort he put in for that 4th goal was anything to go by.....A winstanley style of performance springs to mind...big Eric knew where the onion bag was so there no doubt in my mind he's capable...

Has he got the composure though? I don't think given time to think he'd be as effective.

We can't afford any slip ups. Every game is a challenge but one we need to try and win. He has to start.

Think you have to play him. Don’t think it matters if he comes off the bench. He’s a shithouse kind of player when it comes to opposing players refs etc. as we have seen as likely to get booked on or off the pitch.

If only we could trust him not to pick up a silly booking.
