Hourihane IMO was phenomenal from start to finish in his Barnsley career. If memory serves me reight he won the League One player of the month the very first month of that season. Don’t get where this mantra of him not being that good to begin with or having a slow start comes from. As others have said in his first season he was surrounded by poor players, but he was on another level to all his teammates.

As for Norwood, I think/hope we’ll see the best of him when he’s fully fit. He’s still been a positive to have at the club for his experience alone. We still need to bring in another striker though, 2 if we can manage to move on Iseka.

I think when Norwood hits his stride he'll be fine' i haven't seen Aiden marsh pull any trees up when introduced tbh' he runs people down and harries but so does Norwood' cut him a little slack and i'm sure as his fitness gets up to speed he'll start scoring..

I was at the Chesterfield game, after half time he came down the tunnel arguing with someone and went on to have a storming second half.Gossip has it that he basically told Clarkie that he would play how he wanted from then on, Clarkie told him that lf he did he wouldn't play for him again. He did play his own game and was a revelation, Clarkie couldn't drop him after that. Without a doubt he was the player that has given me the most enjoyable moments ever watching BFC. no player has ever come close, Hignet came a distant second. all the rest pale into insignificance. Poetry in motion.

I say again. He’s not up to this standard. And this standard is poor.
