But he weighs a lot more than Steele though, those High Jumpers in the Olympics cleared over 7ft with their entire body !!
Hassell as sweeper in a back 3 - sorted!!! That sort of radical thinking would blow Hill's head off though, so not holding my breath.
There's not a lot wrong with our defending in open play - there certainly wasn't on Saturday. Why would we need to deploy a sweeper system? How would this help us to defend set pieces? I would have thought a bit more height in the team might be a better option.
Bobby had a decent game Can't be blamed for either goal, centre-halves don't mark opposing centre-halves for corners/free kicks. Lets get this completely straight, it was all down to the penalty miss, score that and we would have won.
Re: Bobby had a decent game really - we might have won but I am not so sure - I still think Birmingham would have equalised - we were so poor at defending corners and free kicks I think we would have conceded anyway. Still never come from behind to win a game in over one and a half seasons - thats down to a systematic problem not one bad miss. I agree with you on the Centre halves though - their 7 foot centre forward never got a look in so I dont think you can blame either Hassell or McNulty for the goals
put Edwards in you must be joking he as been a money grabing pi55 poor signing, no intentiun of even wanting to play just king Faruqe from Egypt
He's been perpetually injured hasn't he? Alternatively, he is yet another experienced championship player that Hill seems unable to manage properly.
dont know how good he is not seen him play much mate have you, must bad injury known players with bad breaks get back playing faster. was he injured when he went on loan
