    Looks an exciting prospect. I will reserve my judgement until i have seen him play plenty of first team football for Barnsley FC, just like the other new players we have signed.

    Benfica, Liverpool, Chelsea had him on trial. No guarantee of success but people wanted to see the club looking for better quality and there's more chance of someone with his pedigree, on a free, than splashing out a couple if hundred thousand on a div 2 player. Time will tell but reading comments elsewhere and looking at the videos suggests he will have a good chance of making an impact.

    Had he been signed by another championship team, no doubt we'd gave had a chorus of "why weren't we going for players like this?!"

    And also extremely one-footed, with shocking finishing.

    All in all, much better than Dagnall.
