Apart from the shed on the left it looks like a mini Oakwell.

I always book through LNER site and they always give me vouchers back which I can use for a re-arranged date. As you say later on it looks optimistic to be on anyway so hopefully not an issue.

Pictures from down there this morning are bad. Should be called off now but they're hoping weather improves. I suppose they don't care about 300 and odd Barnsley fans

Looks touch and go to me. Temperature 5 degrees through to afternoon, which might thaw it out?

Hard to tell at the moment - it depends how frozen the pitch is which you cant tell from a photo
They must think there is a good chance or you'd think they would have called it off already but Im glad I am not going
would be very annoying for anyone travelling if its called off late afternoon
Update from Exeter 20 mins ago

Peaks at 5 deg at 14.00 and then steadily drops again down to -1 by KO time.
If the side that is white over is frozen like you'd expect I can't see it thawing out much.

Hard to understand why so many would be travelling so far midweek to a match that may or may not be on. I suppose if you've pre-booked train tickets plus the match ticket it's a case of hope for the best but it does seem like a crazy thing to do on a Tuesday in winter.

My one and only visit to that ground was when Glyn Riley got the only goal to win it for us during that long unbeaten run that led to promotion. But the trip was much easier as I lived near Salisbury and there was a direct train down to Exeter from there. The weather was a lot better as well :)

Forecast to be freezing again by 7pm, pitch inspection at 4.15pm apparently. Crazy, should be off now, guessing there ain't much to do otherwise in Exeter on a cold Tues night.

4.15 pm is ridiculous. They should make a decision no later than midday.

Someone on twatter reckons referee to inspect at 5.15. only official thing from Exeter is they will update as much as they can...whatever that means.

Junior Didcot Red 3 is travelling on the 16:41 from Didcot. He has booked a b & b overnight. I hope he gets to see the game. I will watch on I-Follow.
