If you went to 13 out of the 23 matches it works out about the same as a season ticket So season tickets do work out much cheaper and that's why most season ticket holders buy season tickets If they worked out the same as paying match by match there would hardly be any season ticket holders
i agree before the season starts a season ticket holder says there you go my £300 now sort the playing staff out ,you've got my money before a ball is kicked, they agree to back the club wether we have a good season or bad season ,wether thier favourite player is transfered etc etc,now a supporter who doesn't have a season ticket for whatever reason, can just suddenly decide not to go if he's not happy or if it's a bad day,or the clubs really struggling etc,so surely the person who puts his or her money up front should get rewarded at times like this.I know people might argue they've been to x number of away games but none at home so that should count, true it's great some people follow the club away from home ,but they are putting thier money in the away teams coffers not Barnsleys.
Surely if supporters who buy tickets on a match to match basis put more cash into the club Then they'll be here tonight and get a ticket stub.
RE: Surely if supporters who buy tickets on a match to match basis put more cash into the club Yes they will, but if s/t holders can hoover up 4 each (i realise not all of them will) there potentially aren't a lot of tickets left to go around.
Are you sure? I seem to remember it being more like 17 out of 23 Plus you have to take account of the value of the capital to the club, works out about the same
AAAAAARRRRGGGHHHH yes they will be here tonight and they will have a stubb, but they will be behind the s/t holders third and fourth choice mate in the pecking order., that the f@ucking point.
More should be done for those that attend regularly but don't have a season ticket I've said that many times and if I had been in charge provisions would have been made at the start of the season. What's starting to bug me is people who say they come to every match and then come up with a reason why they can't come to the game tonight. Pardon me if I don't believe you.
RE: More should be done for those that attend regularly but don't have a season ticket If I can flip dis bitch some more. ( I have no idea)
Our average home support is about 9,000. We have about 7,000 ST holders. Thus 2,000 regulars without ST's. Doesn't seem to be a problem when you look at it like that.
I still would have made it 2 per ST and have had a loyalty scheme in place like.

RE: More should be done for those that attend regularly but don't have a season ticket Some will have genuine reason why they can't make it, work etc. Seems a bit daft for everything to hinge on 1 ticket to 1 match. I'm off tonight btw, but that's cos i'm stupid and know no better.
RE: Are you sure? I seem to remember it being more like 17 out of 23 Taking into account reduced prices for some matches the "break - even" point is around 19 matches.
would season ticket holders be happy with 7,000 supporters at wembley? yes that would be extremely embarrassing wouldnt it! sure the players will appreciate 30,000 barnsley people supporting thier town at wembley, creating an amazing atmosphere, so lets stop all this puerile nonsense please!
cant get to tonights game as weekdays are not good for me, does this mean i am unlikely to get a wembley ticket if i cant find a ST holder friend?
Oh dear, poor love. They aint great fer me either, just got in, 250 mile round trip in pissin rain and 200mph winds (an that meant I did 300mph back down't M1), but you make the effort if needs must and unfortunately (Ta,Don) they do.
Laura sent a copy of her post to Gordon last night and has received a reply saying that Patrick, Don and himself had lengthy talks about the fairest way to allocate tickets and decided on the one of 4 per ST holder.
Well Patrick and Gordon are daft why did they say that was the 'fairest way'? the quickest way of shifting tickets yes...the 'fairest'...don't think so!
