At the end of the day it's the food chain.Wouldn't be surprised if a underachieving Championship side went for the Lincoln manager this close season.
Me neither. He's done a brilliant job, but he's literally done half a season in the 3rd division. That's a big risk whichever way you look at it.
Seems a tad contradictory to call a significant number of members “Fannies” and then ask for no “name calling”.
The whole loyalty thing with Duff is nonsense. If he took the job or say Mike Williamson then they’re both in the same boat. They’re both looking to do a good job here so they can move on & get a better paid job elsewhere higher up the pyramid. I don’t particularly care as long as they do a good job whilst here.
Of je does come back, when we're winning can we sing "Mike Duff is our King" instead of "Duffy is our King"? "Duffy" is a one hit wonder warbler.
Its nice to know there are intelligent, balanced people on this board. I'm not one of them but its still nice to know....
Yes and no…. There’s enough evidence to show that top end league one clubs are sticking with managers longer than we do…..
Erm…. I actually didn’t (i was referencing a couple of earlier posts by others) so not really on this one… unless “full blinker mode” counts, in which case I apologise, but it wasn’t meant to be derogatory necessarily…
It seems to me we are waiting on a manager still employed and still busy… other wise we’d have just got on with it this week?? I know I’m giving the club too much credit for being competent
Have to say, given the state of our defence, I'm a tad worried about number of goals conceded by MK Dons, if they are considering Mike Williamson. The delay would make sense though, if they're waiting until the POs are out of the way.
