Tyrone you may well have a high IQ - it doesn't make you clever.

Your IQ is a measure of intelligence. Not a measure of knowledge.

I have a relatively high IQ. Last measured over ten years ago but it was high - 142.

A high IQ means you are likely to be able to learn things quicker and have a grasp of a wider range of topics than some.

That's true of me too. And I like football and like to think I know a quite a bit about it. But I'm not so far up my own arse as to assume that because I think it, it must be right. Maybe ten years ago I'd have assumed that. They say age brings wisdom - it can also reduce arrogance. I don't know you or how old you are, but if you're as intelligent as you imply I'm guessing not too old as you wouldn't be scoring petty punches on a football forum.

The point is a high IQ doesn't make your opinion more right than anyone else's, it doesn't mean you have to be right, and it doesn't stop you being a class A arsehole. A high IQ doesn't make it impossible to make yourself look stupid, but it can give a you a falsely inflated sense of self importance.

Sorry to butt in but I felt the urge. Feel free to have a pop - I'm sure a few will.

Oh, wildly changing the subject, Scott wiseman is not now nor ever will be an adequate centre back at this level of football. He is too slow, too weak in the air, too positionally unaware and too poor on the ball. In my opinion. Foster was poor today, as was stones. But both have it in them to perform much better and have done. Wiseman is consistently below average - I'll give you that others were worse today. Doesn't make him good.

Another opinion - Ben Alnwick is an adequate second choice at this level. You wouldn't want him playing every week though as today proves - don't talk about deflections and any other excuse, at least two, possibly three of those goals don't go in with a better keeper. Such as Luke Steele - who isn't perfect, has quite a poor kicking game, can make an error here and there - but is still a far better goalkeeper than Ben Alnwick, that much is very plain to see.

The team is playing decent football in patches and will win games but the foundation needs to be solid and I don't think the centre half pairing as it is will ever be solid enough. McNulty and foster for me, wiseman to cover stones at rb, cranie looks better in the middle of the park.

He's a character from 'The Big Bang Theory'

A particular favourite of mine. Sheldon's exceptionally intelligent from an academic point of view, whilst being totally inept at social interaction. He's tall and thin, just like me!:)
