Lie after lie after lie .
Boris admitting there will be some kind of border after all .
We’ve been told a multitude of lies during and after the vote it’s time now this was stopped .
Obviously the hardened Brexiteers will find excuses to justify and rollout the Democratic vote etc etc .
But it’s one lie after another it’s time now for a confirmation vote imo .
We will sink back to the seventies if this carries on .
I would imagine many who voted leave would not have done so if it were to interfere with the peace process .
    Let’s get confirmation done.

Boris's plan for a deal is "exactly" the same as the Irish Government's plan for No Deal. WTAF!!

Why shouldn’t there be a border between two foreign/sovereign countries

Because it was part of the NI peace process .
Part of the good Friday agreement that scrapped borders and troop withdrawal .
If this is ripped up by Brexit the knuckle draggers snd extremists on both sides will use it to justify their abuses and drag NI and the rest of the UK back to the bad old days .
Then we’ll have idiots calling for tougher action in NI just like the seventies and the extremists will use it to their agenda and wallah we’re bsck to bombs in buildings and hate campaigns again .
    And for What?

A great question to ask - if you have absolutely no knowledge of history between Britain and Ireland.

Not sure whether it's another pack of lies but according to BBC news hes not proposing a hard border. The idea is that goods go through customs at source in the warehouses and the actual border remains free to cross. As I said, could be a load of bolllox.

If the Irish prime minister,,,, cannot spell his name... Backs Europe wanting a border.
Would that mean they would need a clearance on Irish Ferries to travel into England.
Would they be classed as immigrants or limited visitors

Nobody wants a return to the troubles in Ireland, but isn't the tail wagging the dog in this whole issue? (Not that I want any form of Brexit anyway).

theres still a border. It didn't disappear once the good Friday agreement was signed.

Its just not a hard border with customs/security checks.

A hard border would be about as useful as using a sponge to mop up the sea.
