Number plates help

    Budmustang is right,even MOT stations will fail the car unless they're official font,size spacing etc.

    RE: Budmustang is right

    My car failed its mot cos of wrong font . I got some plates with DVLA-approved font and fastened to the front of the other ones with elastic bands - took it back and he passed it.

    Not unless you know the MOT tester!

    Not just the font - irreglular spacing is also illegal

    Mate of mine got a fine for not having even spacing between the letters

    Bit daft if you ask me as it makes the number easier to remember when split into 2 words

    I've got a dodgy plate - well it ends in BFC anyway. Never been asked about it 'cept once at the channel tunnel where the kind police officer thought the 1 and the 3 were a tad too close together.

    Got the idea from Darran Barnard. Not personally like, he'd never speak to me back in the day.
