Re: Nytanga beaten at the front post for their goal

So the fact that Nyatanga lost his man had nowt to do with it then! Doubt it would have been a goal had he been alert. Got to question the goalkeeping as well, near post headers ought not to be scored in that fashion.

Didnt see last nights game but the previous 3 they looked really solid - its a shame Kelvin was suspended or the mistake at fullback might not have occured either - the back 4 that started the games against Reading Yeovil and Brighton looked a lot better than any defence I have seen from us and a few other sides this season

I didn't comment on this originally because I was too annoyed.

    But my opinion hasn't changed.

M'Voto looks assured on the ball and wins everything.

Jury still out on Nyatanga, not a shadow of the player he once was though.

The cross made the goal whipped in with immense pace rather than lofted in a la various personell in red shirts all the striker had to do was get in the way. I thought he'd hit the woodwork the speed at which the ball came back out of the net.

There's a lesson to be learned here. Never, ever, under any circumstances write anything on this BBS ever. Someone will just bring it back to the top and make you look a lovely person.

For what it's worth, my opinion of M'Voto has changed more often than I've changed my pants. First I thought he was crap (away at Forest, deary me) then I thought he was starting to look good, I thought he should have been in the team ahead of Ramage (another I've changed my mind on), then he was crap again, now I think he's looking good again. I'm about as consistent as lumpy porridge. So, incidentally, are many of our players which is why you'll get such conflicting opinions. The cool ones amongst us will keep their powder dry and not offer up a judgement, so this sort of thing won't happen to them. Very sensible, but it wouldn't be much of a forum if we all did that. We need people saying such and such a player is crap or another is brilliant or we'd have nothing to discuss.

If you thought M'Voto was crap at certain points in this campaign I'd say you were bang on the money. If you thought he looked good in other periods you were right too. The only two opinions I can't relate to are that he's always been good or always been *****, but even then you're allowed that opinion.

M'Voto, like all the players we have now, and the majority we've had in the past, and the majority we'll have in the future, has good games and bad. Let's just hope, from now on, he has more of the former.

And for the record, I think Woods is *****. Click your bookmarks.

There was a point last night when jean lined up an attacking free kick and the lad behind me said it was a disgrace to let him.... How can you say that when we've never seen him take one competitively before for us?
Also, I thought his weakness along with passing was speed, but he definitely showed both last night, outpacing a marauding striker late on.
