They're reinstating Danny due to pitchfork pressure.

The new manager should be refered to as an Head Coach because it doesn't look like the person will have a say in players. We shouldn't be bringing in players when we are managerless. Maybe Wilson wasn't fully to blame for the amount of dross that came in during his second reign afterall.

Ever thought he'd signed before Danny left. When he signed his new contract at Blackburn he said he was going out on loan next week. No conspiracy theory just the paperwork was already signed.

    ^^This.

He'd agreed to come here under Danny. We've obviously not passed up on the opportunity since sacking Danny.

Jacob agreed to sign for Huddersfield, whilst Robins was manager. He left after one game, but Town still wanted Jacob. No conspiracy here. In my opinion.

JOS can play out wide. We need someone who can. Hope he excels and that we can recruit him permanently eventually.

Perhaps, but it's a bit odd. Assuming Danny is the one who wanted O'Sullivan, essentially what the club are saying that they don't trust his judgement to move the club forward, but they are willing to trust his judgement in signing this player, notwithstanding all of the signings that he's already made that don't, in their opinion, move the club forward enough to justify giving him a chance.

I perhaps haven't put that as clearly as I could have done! I suppose the logical (non conspiracy) explanation is that they were fine with all his players, but it was something else that made them lose patience.

Another lad on twitter, and Dyson have just told me the same thing.

But surely our scout(s) will have recommended him? To Danny/the club. As they do/should.

If folk think only a manager should find, sanction and sign laikers, fair enough. But it dunt work like that.

I'm a big fan of Danny, I think he was harshly removed. But I won't subscribe to this notion that he wasn't involved in recruiting laikers. No way would he have stood for that.

I think anyone who has net Danny would know that there is no way he would settle for not having overall say in things. It makes sense to have as much help as possible in any recruitment process I'm not sure what the problem is with that as an approach.

some of the whining in this thread is unbelievable

... oooh no, we shouldn't be signing people without a manager

Err hello?!! Last time I looked, we had a powderpuff mistake-riddled midfield incapable of tackling, or creating anything. One that conceded 5 goals against the bottom side in the league. Chances are any new incoming manager will be more thrilled to see John O Sullivan for a month, (yes that's one whole massive, dangerous, bank-breaking month!), than some of the permanent sh#te on our books.

I for one would like to welcome John O Sullivan regardless of if he was spotted by Danny, Patrick's great niece or Hemmsy on Football Manager. The facts are this deal has been on the table for ages, and he's very highly regarded by Accrington and Blackburn fans alike, and just now we need something to give this team a lift.

    Crack on John. Good luck.
