I've come on here just now to specifically post the same gripe. My poor dog is busting for a pee but darent go out - he's tried twice and both times a banger as loud as a bloody bomb has him running back inside. Really boiling my p1$$ now. Its been a whole bloody week.

We've heard about 3 all week. The bucolicism of Burton Leonard, been lovely.

The dog's not that bothered about them anyway, he just has a woof at the really loud ones.

Makes a nice change though, where we moved from in Harrogate they were every day and night for about a month!

They are still going off round us now, 11pm. Ridiculous.

A random but highly effective tip: if you have a tumble dryer, bring it into whichever room your pet is in and put it on in the evening. It might give you a bit of a headache, especially if it’s an old one like ours, but it’ll cover all but the loudest of fireworks. We’ve been washing everything we can think of this week, it’s covered the noise up brilliantly.

I'm 52 years old. I don't like fireworks. But if that's all kids are doing, letting off fireworks that annoy me as an old man...

I still remember what I did as a 16 year old. Jesus suffering ****!
