Has he dropped a bo llock saying he wants to leave Spurs when he has three years left on his contract? Daniel Levy doesn't even have to sell him.

If Levy reckons he can get £100m for Kane he'll be gone this summer, they've got a new stadium to pay for don't you know...

Ronaldo, Bale and Coutinho were all under contract when they decided they wanted to leave. Only question for Kane is whether Spurs would be willing to sell to City, or would a foreign club have to come in for him.

You don't know what was agreed in private before he signed his last contract. If Levy told him he could go should they not keep improving or challenging for silverware, then you can't blame Kane for doing what he has.

Levy only has himself to blame too. Spurs had a talented team, a genuine, homegrown, world-class striker who would walk into any other team in the world and managed by a bloke who loved the club and his players. They overachieved by getting to the Champion's League final, but rather than using it as a catalyst and investing some serious cash to push them to the very top level, he sat on his hands and hid the checkbook so they stagnated and went backward on the pitch.

This little play to get Pochettino back in charge is a last-ditch effort to try and persuade Kane to give them at least another year.

What you said. Is Levy renowned for his word? :)

Kane wanted to leave last summer, but Levy asked him to stay for another year.

Must be hard for him. Consistently being one of the best strikers in the league, yet never having any silverware to show for it. He deserves a chance at a better club than Tottenham, at this stage in his career. Perfect replacement for Dike.

I like Harry Kane but I can't help thinking if he moves on Spurs will sign a few players, make the right managerial appointment and win a few trophies. Kane will make the wrong move to another big club on a downward spiral (trophy wise and win fck all).

Is signing for Man City going to guarantee you winners medals? If I were Kane I'd hope Chelsea win tomorrow so Pep Guardiola still has unfinished business.

Supposing City win the Champions League, Kane signs and Guardiola announces he's off on his next venture.

Their next head coach isn't guaranteed success.

There's still sumat telling me Kane will stay at Spurs. I don't think any club that signs him for over £100 million can recoupe owt at his age.

And the fact that you have a soft spot for Spurs has nothing whatsoever to do with your train of thought(!) :D:D
