    O'Brien was apparently drawn to Aberdeen interest but they messed up last minute and lost European football. He is now with his bird in holiday

    Plenty of ways to turn down the offer without doing it in person such as......

    1) His agent turned it down on his behalf.
    2) Phone call.
    3) Text message.
    4) Email.
    5) Fax.
    6) Etc etc etc.

    Danny won't have any input in to what monies he's given to spend. He'll have been told he'll have a budget and depending on the size of the squad he deems necessary to carry us through a season where'll we'll have injuries and suspensions to deal with and a requirement to remain competitive then this will dictate the wage structure.

    JOB will be invaluable to us in L1, easily good enough at this level. Cywka, could be that bit of quality we're need,if we could get him more involved, perhaps play him in a more forward role.

    Would have thought that was highly unlikely though - surely he would want to go on holiday to get away from it all and relax, not sort out contracts etc.

    I know I wouldn't want to anyway
