Exactly, he was part of a team that go relegated and then he wants a pay rise. Tell them to go if they don't want what we offer them.
I will personally give him bus fare so he can catch 227 Rotherham bus from down Elsecar to get to new york stadium talk to the most uncomfortable looking fat bloke ive ever seen about the transfer of a player that has one good game every twenty. More interested in what im havin for lunch than what this drain on resources gets up to. Whilst im on that subject, im 38 years old and still partial to a lemon curd sandwich, is that weird?
I just dont understand why the likes of COG and JOB feel that they are Championship players and are looking to separate themselves, from what was a damn awful season, right through the Club. If they wish to leave, let BFC gain the relevant market value and lets move on to players/Academy lads who do want to be at Oakwell. At the end of the day, if they were good Championship players, they would have kept us up.
Just an unfounded rumour. I've not seen or heard anything in the press that says JOB got into trouble off the club for his Twitter. It's just I heard this person say it through that person. The kind of stuff we always hear.
Dont be daft - football is a team game and usually the position of a team is influenced by the average quality of the players There is no doubt that COG is good enough to play in the championship - he scored plenty of goals despite being in a very poor side the fact we got relegated is not exactly his fault. We could have played Daniel Sturridge instead of him all season and we would still have gone down we did have a few players who are championship quality but unfortunately quite a lot that werent. In the case of O Grady its up to us to some extent - if we get a decent offer he will be sold to reduce the wage bill and generate some cash In the case of OBrien - I think he is good enough to be in the championship but I know others dont agree but very few would argue he was one of the players most responsible for our demise - we didnt even offer him a contract until last month if someone in the championship offers him a better one why one earth wouldnt he take it. If we really wanted to keep him we should have offered him a contract months ago.
Jim tries hard. Unlike a lot of the ***** we have been saddled with. However, that is not a good enough reason to keep him. The amount of effort he puts in should be a prequisite for every one of the 11. He's nowhere near championship quality.
