why a player of his height and stature can't play as a target man, surely Davey ought to be telling him. We are knocking longballs tomosstohoping he's going get a flick on it or get it down and theres a 6'4" 15 stoner stood30 yards to the right of him looking disinterested.

 

hows manys days on the trot would your boss let you steal a living form him and not say anything to you???

Yes I did back in my early teens. Now if we played Bolton every week, he would have been a great signing. I'm not saying he was rubbish, just that he didn't justify his price tag.

I have had the pleasure of playing v both Futchers at 5 a side - Paul was a mare - 2 moves in front of everyone else- immaculate without trying. Ron however was slow and didn't like been tightly marked (half a foot taller and 2 stone heavier than me than me but I gave him a good game) - hard to believe he was Pauls bro on that performance - however it must be said they were in their late 30s/early 40s when I played in this game. I was peaking at age 28!!

I wasn't aware that I've criticised fans for having an opinion.

Nor did I think I'd been personally abusive towards supporters I didn't know . Neither was I aware that I didn't care about Barnsley .
Other than that you've summed me up perfectly . I'm really a glory hunting fan who only turns up when the team is winning . Football didn't exist at Oakwell for me before the 1996/97 season .
