Cheers Connor! Nice 'drift' as well! :)

I do indeed, Spirit. It's the only way you can make sense of the game. I began thoroughly tracking all my bets eight years ago once I retired and had time to do it properly. I have shown a small (in percentage terms) but consistent profit across that period. Skybet won't lay me a bet and Chandlers withdrew the 'Best Odds Guaranteed' concession from me a few years ago. My betting (and hence my winning) is largely with one firm. I can't be certain, but I have cause to believe that they regard my account as a marker and that they tolerate my bets as my stakes are never too outlandish.

Well done on your two winners Mr Kaht. I thought Paisley Park in particular was very tough today. As far as my selection is concerned I took 6 places so am quite happy.

Good call Mr KCP, and probably gave you a better shot at it than mine!

Not much to get stuck into today, but Vibrance (12.45 Fakenham) takes my eye. Four wins from 14 on the Flat and makes her hurdles debut today. James Fanshawe is known primarily for being a Group 1 winning Flat trainer, but it shouldn't be forgotten that he has also trained two Champion Hurdle winners. Hopefully therefore, he knows what it takes to convert a horse to the Winter game. There is not much previous hurdles experience in this race, although Allavina (Aidan Coleman/Olly Murphy, backed) and Martello Sky have some decent bumper form. Fakenham is a quick, easy track and I wonder if Vibrance's flat speed will come into play provided she demonstrates some jumping ability. She has drifted out to 5/1 overnight, but as we saw with Sangarius yesterday, a drift doesn't always mean a great deal. I rate this one as worth a modest interest in what is not a great race.

As an aside, I am very keen on Cyrname for the King George next Saturday.
