Don't think we can complain at 1-1 considering that sitter they missed in the opening minutes. Individually most of the back 4 have shown positives, but as a unit they are no where near where we need them to be. Sibbick though, and I take no pleasure in saying this, isn't ready for football at this level.
What makes you say that? Not arguing though just interested. Are you basing your opinion of Sibbick on this and the last game? I haven't seen him do much wrong this game so far. He has pushed up on occasions this game and looked tidy. My problem with iFollow is you are stuck with what the camera shows and so can't look at positional play for players off camera so if you are at the game you have a better overall view.
I think technically, he's got something and I can see why the scouting/recruitment team have gone for him. I just think mentally he's off the pace a bit compared the players he is up against. This is the first game I have not been at(so might be misreading things on todays game, as you say iFollow/TV coverage has it's limitation), but positionally he has looked lost a few times, and today in particular I would have thought he would have been responsible for picking up the lad who missed the sitter at the start? Like I say, I don't like singling players out, but he just doesn't fill me with confidence at the minute.
Great bit of close control from Chaplin there. I was only saying that he hadn't done much in the fist half...
An hour in (and I hope I don't jinx it )BUT does anyone else think the defence look like they are starting (just) to look a bit more comfortable.
