    They did at times in the second half when they’d sit back & have a breather & then go again but they put lots of pressure on our defence through pressing throughout the game

    Our young team are going to have to learn on the job this season and hopefully they learn quickly Wednesday basically were more streetwise than us and certainly didn’t look world beaters they just waited for our mistakes and then pounced.

    I did watch. Ours or there’s? I’m confused now? They pressed us & had great success from doing so, both Radlinger & Diaby had shaky moments from it.

    they only arrived Thursday/Friday. They need time to get to know the squad. Tuesday Vs Carlisle may be a good game to blood them.

    Pretty much tells it’s own story. I doubt the players we have signed are what Stendel would have hoped we would. I don’t think he will sign another contract based on that.

    not worried about todays result TBH, I had written it off as soon as the fixtures came out. Looking at the stats it seems we had plenty of possession , we are very newish side with a lot of players to 'bed' in . I am glad we got this out of the way early doors.

    Why are some people so quick to pounce and say he ll leave. That seems to be a positive statement from him to me. I think we all need to relax a bit. Having said that I'm not 109% sure he "gets" derbies. Game plans go out the window and players do stupid things in desperation.

    He's let it be known for months now and the board didn't listen so he's mentioning it again. I will be shocked if he's here by the start of next season.

    They pressed us with success 2nd half 1st half our centre backs and keeper had time on the ball.

    They dominated 1st half, no 2nd half yes even the biased Wednesday ifollow commentator made comment on how we were dominating but our play in the final 3rd was poor.

    Cant really compare it to the season we banged long balls to bradshaw

    Well technically we do have some experience in the championship but alot of the players we have it's the 1st time they have ever played at this level.

    Well after 2 hours of cold calm thinking, I believe this team will win more than they lose. They're young and learning all the time. Get behind them and I think we've something special. Norwich last year started terribly and won the league. Daniel's still to have a fully fit squad. Dougall today would have helped, we're still to bed in our new signings and have a proper left back in place. Sibby isn't a right back but I predict he'll be a top centre half. How many of you would have liked 3 points after 2 games instead of just 1 or 2?

    Just got a message of my dee dar mate which read:

    "Couldn't believe you stuck with the plan to play out from the back when it was obviously a struggle. So many mistakes and lost possession. Was this what you did last season and was a case of not knowing what else to do?"

    Which brings up the question, what is our plan B?

    Don't think we'll change our approach maybe formation. Germans don't change in mentality, they master the approach. Main reason why England haven't been to many major finals since 1966. All top German coaches won't change the approach its down to players adapting and delivering. Mixed messages lead to poor delivery. German national team tried a horses for courses mentality between 1999 and 2001 and got hammered. Changed it after being beaten by us at Home and made World cup final in 2002. Like with cars always trust German.

    Stendel is the biggest part of our recruitment team.Like he said he's involved at the beginning middle and end of every transfer.
    If there was no Championship experienced players who he fancied or we could afford we have to trust his judgement on the players brought in.Mads or Mills,Mads everytime for me.
