I know, but rightly or wrongly, they have decided to sell north to south rather than tier by tier. Suggests that they will reserve the right to shift the segregation line. Not saying i agree with it (I don’t) but those top tier tickets need to be shifted.
Absolutely ridiculous, not releasing tickets that people are waiting for. We're not asking for more allocation. We just want to be able to buy the ones we've been allocated. Zero consideration to fans here. There is only one Level 2 block available, with single-tickets only.
Blocks 123 and 124 have already been sold to BFC fans, so any shifting of the segregation lines would put Wednesday fans directly above Barnsley fans in that area. At a stretch I'd imagine they might do that on the top tier only, if there was a clear discrepancy in demand, but it seems like a recipe for disaster to be actively planning for it from the outset.
I've emailed and tweeted the Managing Director of Ticketmaster. He's called Andy Parsons, which is quite apt given this farcical comedy.
I wasn't suggesting they would, but the situation I described could logically apply with only 227 and 527. 227-229 are the only remaining Cat 1 areas in our allocation and I can't think of any logical reason why they wouldn't have opened up at least block 229 to sales by now. Similarly for block 231 for those seeking Cat 2 tickets. If you're someone who's intent on wanting one of those two categories you are not going to settle for the top tier rows currently on sale while there's a prospect that these sections open up. It will be a different matter once the middle tier is unavailable as an option (due to having sold out), and I think the top tier will shift pretty quickly once it becomes the only genuine option. The question then is how far around will our demand take us, and what do they then decide to do with any unsold blocks. At the moment, some jobsworth at Ticketmaster HQ is probably insisting that there's no demand for tickets to justify releasing more, who probably needs to consider why loads of people are logged into the site looking at the seat map and not actively buying anything.
No update on sales then, probably only got to 15050 seeing its only been blocks 549-552 available, except for a few singles, all afternoon.
While I think more blocks should’ve been released and fans given a choice, I hope people don’t take it for granted that other blocks will open up and ultimately miss out
Sounds like a farce. Glad i don't give a **** where my seat us as ill spend more time sitting on the shitter
I can imagine that, they're expected to sell although they're all moaning about spare seats all over the place
I get that it looks better with full sections and then totally empty sections which can be skipped over on TV rather than have every section with empty seats, but not releasing the middle tier and forcing everyone into the Gods is just sh*tty, they clearly intend to give some of our allocation to them.
