    Khaled - rallying call after a crap end to season = gets slated for communicating with fans, as it says nothing ( other than appreciating support of said fans and asking for it to continue and get behind ‘em).
    Khaled - not said anything to fans in pre season = gets slated for not communicating with fans.
    Khaled - can’t say anything on big news yet, as updated recently = gets slated for not updating fans on why there’s no update on what he can’t update on.

    Have I missed anything?

    I’ve heard this time it’s Mbappe. Disco told me in Morrisons last night that we’re just waiting on PSG paying for the flights over to get him to tarn.

    That's better! I was expecting this whole thread to be in that vein to be honest! When I saw the Board had made a statement a couple of weeks, I read it expecting to be annoyed - I wasn't; I thought it decent and reasonable. But come on, this statement from Khaled is just guff. There is no content of any significance - except the banner headline which raises expectations and then leads to.......nothing......again.

    He's a CEO. The comments/rallying cry he's made there should be for the staff and Volunteers of the Club on the eve of the season. Communicate with the support when there's something to say.

    At the end of the day guys, it's nothing to get worked up about. It's just normal corporate management bull5h1t bingo.
    For us it's a new season - in the corporate world it would be like a new financial year, or a new programme kick-off, and it would be remiss of the CEO not to issue a rallying call.

    Nothing to see here .....

    Or maybe you'd prefer he said absolutely nothing about anything until the big news happens?
