Scored 4 goals in 22 in 16/17 season
    Scored 6 in 24 in 17/18 season
    Scored 6 in 32 in 18/19 season
    Scored 2 in 23 in 19/20 season
    Scored 5 in 27 in 20/21
    Scored 3 in 26 in 21/22 season
    Scored 6 in 22 in 22/23 season

So he's never Scored more than 6 in a single season but he's a proven goal scorer now?

I prefer the thinking that he didn't want to be at the club, he wasn't applying himself in training so the best thing for both us and the club was to move him on.

I think he was moved on because Conman put him on too much cash. If he had the scoring record Devante has this season I still think we'd have wanted him gone. Easier to get shut if you buy in to the rumours narrative of him being lazy. I'm sure one day we will hear his side and then we can all decide, instead of a one sided story.

Seeing Watters run his blood to water in the development league match we have to ask why we didn't see Iseka doing the same. Collins says he was professional but how?

Aaron, go away. You have no integrity, no guts, no mates, you got nothing... but you got our money. You fook off now and be aware that you are regarded as piece of rubbish....

Obviously a talented guy, but I haven’t seen anything to suggest he’d have been a consistent performer for us. I also don’t think Duff (think it was him?) would have publicly questioned his attitude if he was applying himself really well.

I think he was clearly paid far too much and we therefore wanted him off the books. If he was giving it his all he probably would’ve been worth keeping and playing.

But you've just said he was always a goalscorer. He wasn't

Club offers player lots of money and player accepts...hardly earth shattering news is it..coupled with a contract 2 years longer than it should have been and we've made a rod for our own backs..or as some believe, me included, the 2 Belgian signings have a very tainted aroma around them. Someone suggested in a previous post (some time since) that the club we're looking at this but nowt's happened so it's probably dead and buried..move on.

It's not a one sided story. 4 Head Coaches (plus other staff) reported the same thing.

I thought he showed some talent. He’s clearly a decent player but there was something wrong. 4 managers can’t be wrong. Probably application.

he’s now playing at a level equivalent of what, non league? Would fully expect him to score loads. It’s the equivalent of me playing in an under 12s league

How exactly does starting rumours about a player being lazy make it easier to sell them? Why would we purposely depreciate the value of an asset whilst getting no return on our money rather than put him in the shop window by playing him? Your post makes zero sense.

He was superb in one match v Blunts and iirc was a game winner / saver in games either side.

To have all that talent, be paid accordingly, then just not be bothered to honour either the talent or the contract is tragic and pathetic in equal measure.

Any league with AEK Athens, Olympiacos and Panathinaikos in can't be that bad. They are no longer the European super powers they were, but they are on a similar level to Denmark, Norway, Israel and Ukraine.

Out of interest, how much was he getting paid per week? I don’t want ‘guesstimated’ just the factual amount, and how much is everyone else on?
