Theyve only sold 1600, however a few more sales will probably go through tomorrow now it’s been made all ticket.

They'd have just as good access if they simply closed one lane of beever court, or belgrave road, or grove Street, or a myriad of routes. Instead they have taken the option that causes maximum disruption

They haven’t actually said that have they? Just that this is the rendezvous point - ie where all the services would congregate in the event of an incident.

I’d doubt the match ambulance will be outside the east stand rather than the west as it always has been. Maybe it will be and has to be. Who knows.

I really think there’s more to this. Maybe the council and the issuing of safety certificates has led to having to move things, restricting access and numbers. Purely speculation, to be clear. But there’s something. And the tickets going off sale isn’t just coincidental to the foot access and parking changes, surely?

If there has been pressure from external agencies that further decreases income, then surely that'll spur the owners on to move away from Grove Street.

    ;)

Sounds like there could well be the need to invest in the infrastructure in and around the stadium, especially if it's impacting safety procedures which in turn will affect potential revenue from supporters.

Look out for a sneaky name change for the program. That’s always the start…

So, Sheffield United - a club in South Yorkshire - played their first home match against a team from the West Midlands, who had sold out the away part of the stadium. I think the crowd was 29,000-ish.

Why does our South Yorkshire club have so many problems with being permitted to sell out its stadium? Who's preventing ticket sales, and why?

It's clearly something specific to us, and not a South Yorkshire thing, or a playing-West-Midlands-clubs thing.

Am I right in thinking that the Blackpool home match in 2019 was technically a sell-out for home fans, even though there were loads of empty seats in the West Stand?

So the folk who have bought a car park ST behind the East Stand now have to wait at least 1/2 an hour after the match, when they thought they'd bought a quick getaway through Beevor Ct?

If this is SYP then it’s a joke IMO.
All this about BFC with restrictions and Leppings Lane is still in full swing ? need to get some priorities right .

Either Coventry have sold their allocation out or we are close to selling the game out in home areas.

Purely guess work but, does anyone know how many season tickets we've actually sold? We were told 11k weeks ago and they've been back on sale for a few weeks now. Also, nobody knows how many match day tickets we've already sold for this game. Its pretty standard to stop pay on the gate sales as soon as an area of the ground has sold out to be fair.

Careful. Make a facetious comment in reply to that and all of a sudden it’s a fact

Facetious? You won't be saying that when you're trying to merge onto the M61 at half 5 on Saturday

If coventry only sell 1600. Give us some of the North stand if we aren't allowed to fill the west. Get the place bouncing

So is the car parking situation just for the first match or all season?

Turnstiles need updating apparently so we won’t be in the North for the foreseeable while ever that remains the away end.
