Doesn't feel like there's an appetite from Mr Conway to speak to the fans. If there was something would have happened by now. Conway Out. I think this is part of Khaled's engagement plans and I'd expect there to be talk about season ticket offer as part of this Q&A (There's a fan engagement forum immediately before it and this is an agenda item)
Quelle surprise. Seems like the infighting between various groups has just brought us back to square one. Any Plan B from Supporters Trust Gally or is this being addressed at the fan meeting?
Yeah I don't think that's the issue. There is some stuff going on in the background but not related to this meeting.
Will there be a Buuming Club Plus offer, where you get vouchers for lube in February and priority for if we make it to the Buuming Cup Final?
There's no appetite from many fans to renew their season ticket. In fairness maybe Mr Conway is following the axiom "if you can't saying anything nice......
Paul Conway is an absolutely despicable human being! If he is still owner of Barnsley football club then I cant see any way that I can continue to support this club. If there isn't enough money to buy out the 80% mob is there enough in the fanbase to buy out his shares? He needs to go one way or another.
I'm feeling rather belligerent about the club at the moment. My questions are: Now that the coach has admitted he is only here till the end of the season, will he employ a coach who has experience of UK football? Will the recruitment team return to the method of 5 seasons ago and recruit UK based players from the lower leagues, who have match experience. As opposed to the inexperienced children with little skill? Is it time to close the Academy? It doesn't produce good enough players or income. Does the club have enough Analysts, specialist coaches?
''Will the recruitment team return to the method of 5 seasons ago and recruit UK based players from the lower leagues, who have match experience. As opposed to the inexperienced children with little skill?'' That doesn't make sense. The recruitment was fine again in the summer apart from Devante Cole who was, strangely enough, better at 18 or 19 than now at 25 or whatever.
Yes. A question could be, how has the club improved things from the summer with off-field problems in the summer. No fitness program been one. 8 signings this season of which 6 made in the summer. 3 ticks in Gomes, Vita ALI. Bensons showed positives. Confidence lacking at the moment but he will be fine. negatives. Cole. Not good enough. Quite simple. Never shown in can play at this level before. Oulare. A lot of problems from home office to fitness issues and he was mentally shot around January from social media. For me the blames multiple. Home Office of which you and I are UK born and I'm ashamed of how they do things then and now. the club needed to get him fit first and not entertain game time until that happened and could he have done more, something I can't answer. ''Kettlewell'' tals about the AGE of the players brought in. The two youngsters if you want to call them that are Gomes and Vita. They aren't and never have been a problem this season. Gomes leads on the field and Vita played in multiple positions looks very good. On the other hand 26-year-old, Devante Cole did very few positives and many negatives whilst being at the club. Can we have the 18/19 DC back please?
Oulare? Vita who didn't get a sniff of a game for over half a season? Kitchen not yet fitting the definition of fine yet.and midfield needed to recruit someone with experience instead of or as well as Benson. The two best in Gomes and Vita are loan players too which I thought we were avoiding.
Could you explain how you judge recruitment to be fine? I would have thought a team losing two core players, Mowatt and Dike, which then proceeded to win two games in 30 after finishing the previous season fifth would suggest otherwise. I realise that the change in tactics and manager also contributed but to say recruitment was fine with one exception suggests that there is a metric which supports that.
Oh of course the recruitment was all absolutely fine. In totally unrelated news, we’re currently likely to achieve one of our lowest ever points totals at championship level.
