In my opinion Paul Conway has lied to the fans many times or at the very least he's been deliberately misleading with what he's said and on top of that he's shown a complete lack of respect to the clubs history when he made his ludicrous best transfer window comment. Then there's the way fans were treated back when Stendel was sacked and the lies that came with that and the fact hes never apologised for that behaviour but has instead continued with the same behaviour right up to now where he won't explain to the fans what's going on. It's really frustrating because I'd say everything else that's happening at the club these days is excellent. You've got the media team working wonders, I think everyone likes Beth, Dane seems to be the first truly genuine CEO we've had since John Dennis was chairman and then you have people like devaney and hassell working in the academy. All good people who are well liked. Then you have those at the very top undoing all that imo.
Cheers Mr whitey. So if I get a half season subscription now would I get the back copies I've missed?
I really don’t know what folk want sometimes. A statement that clears up a lot of the issues questioned on here. The one regarding ownership of the club is quite frankly not open to public debate. We are not employees . We are not owners. We are fans. Is it a concern, absolutely. But to get Conway. ( why him all the time is a bit bewildering) to discuss the goings on when he is only one of the shareholders who are in dispute is quite frankly ludicrous. We have been informed by the media what the dispute is. For Christ’s sake gior bairning and think you have the right to having impossible ( to most ) questions answered.
That's fine, he and his mates can just get ****** if they ever want another penny of my money. Can't have it both ways can they.
Given that they have taken no money out of the club, what will withholding funds accomplish? It won’t hit them in the pocket, if enough do it, it will lead to the weakening of the squad and/or redundancies off the pitch for those that are the lifeblood of the club.
The ultimate goal for them is financial. We are supporting that goal. That's fine but they can't treat fans like crap and still expect that support.
Ok so Jacob made it clear he wants to leave. You make it clear that another club needs to pay serious money. Did we really get that from Stoke. I doubt it.
good statement; i cant fault young brownie going for more money i have in the past done the same thing myself, its not why you do it but how you do it ( winnal) as to struber leaving, well in all honesty i think the mans got a brain in his head and would YOU fancy moving to the states with the way things are at the moment over there ( virus, blm riots, trump ) i think downtown Baghdad would be a better option. as to dane not commenting on the ownership problem how/why can he ?, you got his employers arguing between themselves and possibly a 3 rd party and surely anything he says is going to p155 off at least one of the parties so thats got to be a trip to the jobcentre p45 in hand, and its an ongoing legal case, do what the yanks do best owd lad, wait until its nearly over then come in
I doubt his wage was that high, more likely still his Academy contract. To be fair to him,he'd been at the club around 6 years, perhaps he wanted a change like we all do in our jobs. I have no problem with his transfer.
Have you ever heard of any club where there are things going on behind the scenes. Discuss/inform all the private disputes with the fans. Not on your life. Yet you keep demanding everything be open to joe public. Unrealistic mate. No business operates like that. Especially when talking through solicitors.
